TV News Anchor and Singer Dan Ashley Releases "My Favorite Time of Year" For the Holidays

The San Francisco Based Journalist Delivers His Holiday Wishes With a New and Touching Americana/Country-Rock Single

(San Francisco, California)

On the heels of his critically acclaimed single, "What Really Matters," Americana/Country-Rock artist Dan Ashley releases the Christmas gem, "My Favorite Time of Year."

Christmas has always been Dan Ashley's favorite time of year. With his parents and three siblings, Dan fondly remembers picking out the family tree, right after Thanksgiving, from a lot not far from their family house. Dan and his family would take the tree home and decorate it that very night. Dan says that decorating the tree" began the countdown to Christmas morning and my sister, two brothers and I could hardly contain ourselves!" Dan also remembers singing in the junior choir as a kid — Christmas music was always the highlight of the year. These early memories of Christmas music, the warmth and the joy, can be heard in Dan's new single, "My Favorite Time of Year."

"My Favorite Time of Year" represents everything meaningful to me about the Holidays. I am especially grateful to Leigh Haggerwood for such a beautiful composition and I am delighted that he is so pleased with my version of his great piece. I hope you enjoy the song and I wish you and your family all the best in this Christmas season." – Dan Ashley

Supporting Charities With Proceeds: Dan’s great passion for music, current events, and philanthropy intersect every day of his life. To that end, proceeds from all of Dan‘s musical endeavors go to support the charities close to his heart. "My Favorite Time of Year" is available on all digital platforms including Apple Music, iTunes, Spotify, Google Play and Amazon Music. Ashley is committed to using his notoriety to give back to his community in various ways and has performed at the San Francisco Aids Walk, the San Francisco Pride Parade, and for his own foundation, Rock the CASA.

A Festive Lyric Video Is Available:
