Trey Snow is a hip-hop recording artist based in Los Angeles,CA. He recently started releasing music again, after a two hiatus. His latest singles include "Skrrtt (Prod. KimJ), "Where's Selena?" (Prod. BlackMayo), and Bohemian Castboy Pt.2 / Oaths - Ft. GiLO & Uptop Lucci (Prod. KC Fame).
"Skrrt" has a interesting sound over a catchy beat; "Where's Selena?" is very bright and colorful; and "Bohemian Castboy Pt.2 / Oaths" has a very dark, street sound. These songs were the beginning of Snow gearing up to drop his first Project in two years "Fth the Casting Tape".
Fth is a compilation of songs displaying different sonic sounds, and we get to see an artist be honest about his struggles with his vices and demons. Songs like "Birthday" are a great example of the artist being openly vulnerable discussing a failed relationship. He also has songs like "Brighter Days" in which he covers the topic of death, and the resilience it takes coming from inner cities.
"The production throughout the project was good. We get to hear beats from some dope up and coming producers.There has been a few visuals released from the project which are nice. All in all this was a good project by TREY SNOW and I definitely recommend giving it a listen. I'm excited to hear what he's got next! "
