Singer-Songwriter Karl Sky has been penning melodic, catchy roots rock/folk/alternative tunes for years. In 2000 Mr. Sky formed a beneficial relationship with Nashville legend Scotty Turner. Turner had a long and varied musical career as lead guitarist with Tommy Sands and the Raiders, as a session guitarist in LA, an an executive producer of Liberty and Imperial records. The mentorship that Scotty provided allowed Karl to flourish as a writer, both lyrically and musically. Captain Kidd Music/BMI signed Sky's country song, "Warm Kentucky Wind" as well as Karl's first collection of music "Guess It's Time." Karl's style resembles early singer songwriters of the 70s such as James Taylor, Jim Croce & Elton John.
