Greg C. Brown Releases New Album "Venezia": A Global Collaboration in Modern Classical Fusion

Charlottesville, VA - Renowned recording artist and composer Greg C. Brown has just unveiled his latest musical endeavor, "Venezia," a compelling collection of original works for guitar and a diverse array of string ensembles. Musicians from Poland, Ukraine, Greece, Canada, the United States, Argentina, and beyond have joined forces with Brown to bring this modern classical fusion album to life.

The album features extraordinary performances by Damian Bolotin (violin), Vitaliy Tkachuk (guitar), Emanuel Pavon (cello), Nikos Mavridis (violin/viola), Janice Marie Mauroschadt (violin), Patrick Keady (bass), and George Crotty (cello), each contributing their unique artistry to this global project.

With over 25 CDs to his name, Greg C. Brown is no stranger to the world of music. His career spans performances across the US, Canada, and Europe, including a notable appearance at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin, Ireland. In addition to his extensive performance history, Brown has dedicated over 30 years to teaching guitar, including positions at Mary Baldwin University and Bridgewater College in Charlottesville, Virginia.


Looking ahead, Greg C. Brown is set to make his Carnegie Hall debut on February 17, 2025, as part of their prestigious Gala. This milestone performance is a testament to his ongoing contributions to the world of classical music.

Greg C. Brown holds a Master’s degree in Music Composition from the Vermont College for Fine Arts and a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a specialty in Music Industry from City University in Bellevue, Washington. He is a member of several esteemed organizations, including the Guitar Foundation of America, Chamber Music America, and the Society of Composers, Inc.

Brown's music has found its way into TV, film, video games, and radio stations worldwide and has even been transcribed into Braille. His recordings can be streamed or purchased on all major platforms, and his sheet music is available through Les Productions D’Oz and J.W. Pepper.
