February 1, 2019 (Chicago, IL)

I Ya Toyah landed here to spread the disease of music and infect the human race. I Ya Toyah is a Chicago - based one woman army of Polish origin that blends the chaos and balance with familiar vibe of industrial electronica sound. Her music melts the smooth, cutting edge vocals, surreal guitars, hypnotizing beats and multiple electronic synth elements into dark arrangements that, combined with storytelling lyrics, respond to the paranoia of everyday reality.

The new album, CODE BLUE takes you on an intimate journey through the chapters of inner darkness and struggle, caused by social distortions, depression and suicidal nature. Consisting of ten tracks, her debut album reflects a story that is deeply personal, revealing the residue of tragedies that touched I Ya Toyah in her own life.

CODE BLUE features the untamed mix of haunted and powerful vocals, electronic, groovy beats and powerful synths combined with hypnotizing guitars that give the feel of dark, surreal and mysterious atmosphere.

In addition, I Ya Toyah's song "Funeral For Love" will be aired on National Indie Radio (WNIR) throughout the month of February. For more information, visit wnir-radio.com. WNIR offers online radio and free app downloads on iTunes and Android.
